About RVAW

Founded in August 2023 by Scott and Tim, two long-time local plane spotters, RVAW quickly grew to a social community-centric group of 2,700+ followers. Our mission is to elevate, educate, and inform our local community about aviation by providing photos, videos, and other content on aircrafts in Southern Oregon and Northern California.

Major Events Coverage

Extensively covered the 2023 wildfire season with over 250 updates, offering high-quality visualizations and detailed insights on aerial wildfire operations and the aircraft involved.

Live-Streams

Hosted from the Air Tanker Base during wildfire operations, with more planned in the future around the airport.

Partnerships & Collaboration

Collaborating with the Rogue Valley International Airport (KMFR) administration to produce high-quality content and grow partnerships with aviation companies, pilots, and ground crews.
